This museum, located in Hannibal, Missouri, is housed in one of the homes where Mark Twain lived as a boy. Hannibal, a Mississippi River town, inspired many of the stories told in his books.
The Mark Twain House and Museum
This Hartford, Connecticut mansion was designed for the author and his family in 1873. It remained his home for 30 years. There's a great virtual tour of the 19-room house at this web site.
